So, this entry would have been more appropriately written before the holidays, but I was too busy and important.
Okay, just busy.
I remember having this craft book as a child.
Most of the projects were crap – decoupage murals, newspaper palm trees and that ilk.
One I remember with fondness, however, is the Cloved Orange.
I remember the cartoon rendering in the book’s instructions gave the orange a smiley face and a receding hairline, but I’m a fan of simplicity.
1 orange, slightly past its prime
1 tbsp whole cloves, more as needed
* Press the stabby end of the clove through the orange’s skin in any arrangement that you fancy.
* Whiff the finished product and get drunk on the Festivus Odorifera .
