So, I’ve been using what little free time I can scrape together to knit for my son and for The Store.
Behold the adorableness:
I changed the pattern in a few ways with mixed results:
- Drawstrings are not for babies. Good decision.
- Seed stitch instead of garter. Cute alternative.
- Started with the hood and worked down instead of picking up and knitting the hood afterwards. Stupid. Hardly worth the effort.
Neither the pattern nor the yarn was particularly inspiring, but it was a nice, quick knit (took me all of one nap time) that Connie wanted as a sample for the Knitter’s Fair* on Saturday.
* Yes, that knitter’s fair.
