So, I’ve been naughty.
Several weeks ago, I managed to forget my favourite bottle brush at my mothers. Picking one up at the grocery store, I noticed that it scanned in at a dollar more than the tag.
Now, I don’t know if Integrity Pricing is a Provincial/National/International thing, but it works like this:
Should an item scan in higher than the ticketed price, you get that item FREE (maximum $10). This is supposed to stop retailers from screwing over the oblivious/in a hurry/lazy consumer.
Should a particularly observant customer notice that the item she got free on her last visit is STILL incorrectly priced, would it be wrong for her to take advantage and start a little bristly collection?
Anyone need a bottle brush?
